"Deep Subject Matter Expertise and Personalized Service.I have been a client of Brigandi Coin for several years. As a collector of vintage baseball memorabilia I value a focus on quality and expert opinions on purchases. I get both from Brigandi Coin, specifically from John Brigandi. If you are looking to build a collection from scratch or to fine tune your existing collection, Brigandi is a good place to go."

Value-Collecting
The art of collecting is centuries old. We know, for example, that the Ancient Romans and Greeks collected coins. The sheer fun & enjoyment has always been in “The Search.” However, we believe it should also include the element of “value” in that equation. Accordingly, we guide our clients on what items they should and should not buy. One mistake on a purchase can cost hundreds, even thousands, of dollars in value. We take this responsibility seriously and will help guide you through the process of building the very best collection your budget allows.
Auction Representation
We have been buying from auctions for decades and we are experts in the field. We know where and when certain items are selling, when something is mispriced and undervalued, and most importantly, when not to buy something (we will get to this next). We have made a successful business from our expertise and knowledge of buying through auctions. We now provide this successful service on behalf of our clients.
Since there is so much online information regarding collectibles, collectors have many opportunities these days to buy at auction. However, the best kept secret and the most important part about buying at auction is knowing what NOT to buy. This is something most collectors don’t reflect on until it’s too late or don’t find out until they go to sell at a later date. All it takes is one blunder to ruin the profits made from all your good purchases. This is the importance of using our expertise. Buying in auction is something we’ve done almost every day for nearly 50 years. It is our responsibility to know the business inside and out so we never make a mistake and always make value-conscious purchases. We pride ourselves on our auction knowledge and experience, and we do it better than any firm in the business. This is indeed a very “tricky” field and we are glad to assist our clientele.
We always keep the names of our clients confidential.
